Carols - Meadow Bridge: Authentic Home-Cooked Burgers & Local Dining Experience

Visiting New River Gorge park and found this gem of a restaurant. Carol has moved across the street and doesn't have her sign up yet but she's still there! The burgers were simply delicious. Definitely a locals hangout but they were very welcoming to us, very much worth the trip--go check it out!

Carol’s is a famous local spot with the best home cooked food! I always stop in and have a meal when I visit home! If your passing through this is the place to stop! The Ma and Pa feel doesn’t skip this place you will feel right at home! The burgers are huge and portion sizes on all the food is great! You can beat small town home cooking!

What a cool little diner! We went at an off hour, so we were the only customers there. We walked in to three people sitting at a table, chatting and watching old westerns. They rattled off the available items, there was not a written menu. We both had a burger, and they were really good. The fries were cooked to perfection, golden and crispy. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely return!

Carol's moved to the corner but is open for business. The food was delicious! The prices were very good!!! Definitely worth a try.

Wonderful Food, we stopped in after church! I had the special of the day, steak with sweet potato, corn, baked beans and pasta salad! Hubby had hot dogs and burger, (our food was great) we both had sweet tea which was perfect I might add! Food was delicious and the waitress was absolutely wonderful! Carol is a family friend from way back. Her food is on point. 5 stars is not enough!! Can't wait to stop in again and try another special.

I love the people there they were really nice and Carol makes the best sweet tea better then McDonald's I want to go back so bad like right now and get another I had 2 mine and the rest of my mom's bc we were have a mom and daughter date so we got chilly cheese fries and the tea they both were really good I highly recommend Carlos The food is the best and it feels like home in the building.so head on over and get you some Carlos

Lovely atmosphere, great food and amazing customer service! We visit from Michigan and love to come here when we are in WV for that "down home, good Ole fashioned, feels like family" meal! We love this place! Very low prices for amazing portions and very well cooked meals. Average $10 a person and just a few more dollars to add an amazing app to boot. We had some burgers, fries, sodas, onion rings,, fried pickles breaded mushrooms and awesome customer service. The place is decorated with a bunch of country what nots and just feels like home. All customers there wore smiles. I highly recommend Carol's

Cash only. No credit/debit cards. Great home cooked food. Carol cooks and takes your order. Husband helps with busing tables. Hamburger & fries are good/ hand made. Love the home fries & eggs/bacon for breakfast. Restraunt is across the road from where the 1st Restraunt was located in the pictures - leveled and now a lot.
